The Fibonacci Sequence is a pattern in math where the value of the next number is the sum of the 2 before it. For example, 1, 1, 2, 3, and 5 are the first 5 numbers in the patten. This was developed in India, but got its name from Italian mathematician Fibonacci. This sequence is also extremely commonly seen in nature, such as the amount of seeds on a sunflower. It is also sometimes used in architecture new and old, such as the Parthenon in Athens. When you enter a number into this tool, it outputs that fibonacci number. For example, if you put in 6 it will output an 8 because 8 is the 6th fibonacci number.
